Will Plugging Two Kingstons in a 2019 iMac Drop Clock?

by Poster Mar 30, 2019 21
The 2017 iMac will be downgraded when using Kingston, so I would like to ask friends who have arrived, has anyone tried the 2019 iMac mixed with Kingston memory and the frequency will be downgraded? -Why a Kingston? Because my home is in a small place, it is more convenient to buy it only on JD.com, but only Kingston is self-operated.

You can buy a Corsair. The one self-operated by JD.com. That won't be down-frequented.

Buy it first, reduce the frequency and return it.

@ Anonymous1918 checked, the self-operated pirate ship memory is only desktop, right?

@ Anonymous1920 is already on sale

☺ ️ Heiguo, please ask for SMBIOS configuration, just remove the serial number

@ Poster checked and found that there are really no notebook memory sticks sold

There are quite a lot of self-operated memory, such as https://item.jd.com/100003233722.html # crumb-wrap

@ Anonymous1922 Thanks for the reminder, I checked the self-operated 211 and only Kingston was left in 😂

However, what conditions will lead to frequency reduction? Those self-operated companies on JD.com cannot determine which ones will reduce frequency and which ones will not.

@ Anonymous9598 At present, it has basically been confirmed that both pirate ships and hacker gods will reduce frequency. The reason should be that the timing is different. The timing that comes with iMac is 19 https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/2019-imac-recognized-memory-with-2400-mhz.2175547/#post-27234094

Memory mixed insertion of different frequencies will run at the lowest frequency, but there is no difference between 2400 and 2666

@ Anonymous1923 At present, it seems that the frequency reduction is caused by different timing
  • Anonymous1924 Apr 3, 2019
What are you asking? Just buy one with the same frequency 2666. I have installed it normally.
  • Anonymous1925 Apr 3, 2019
Tried: Mixed plug will downfrequency, 2 or 4 Corsair 16G will not downfrequency
  • Anonymous1926 Apr 4, 2019
@ Poster Looking at this forum post you posted, it said that buying a Micron 2666 seems that you can avoid reducing the frequency?

@ Anonymous1926 guessed that CL19's Yingruida will not reduce the frequency, but I haven't seen the actual test post yet

I bought an iMac today. I personally tested Team Group's T-Force (CL19) without slowing down together with the original strip. It is currently running at 40GB @ Anonymous1927.

@ Anonymous9598 would like to ask where to buy it? I don't know if it's CL19 from Goudong
  • Anonymous9598 Apr 4, 2019
@ Anonymous1928 is Dog Dong, which says CL19 on the introduction page.
