The iMac can't be awakened when it sleeps. Click the touchpad or keyboard button, the screen will light up and the login interface will flash, and the computer can only be restarted every time;
iMac 2019 (only less than four months out of the box), version 10.14. 6 system;
Video address: (Very regular and supernatural 5 seconds to light up the screen)

Anonymous11034 Aug 2, 2019No way, there will always be flaws in industrial products. The landlord unfortunately won the bid. I'll have to get a new one.

Anonymous10262 Aug 2, 2019This is clearly haunted. What does it have to do with Apple's quality control?

Anonymous1989 Aug 2, 2019Adjust the sleep wake-up settings, the screen will occasionally flash but there has been no problem of not being able to wake up. I have encountered it before with rMBP, but it has not happened again after upgrading the system

Poster Aug 2, 2019@ Anonymous11034 It is impossible to replace it with a new one, it can only be sent for repair

Anonymous3623 Aug 2, 2019Apple today released a supplementary update to macOS Mojave 10.14. 6, which fixes the problem that some devices cannot wake up from sleep normally
-
Anonymous3624 Aug 2, 2019There are many bugs in the software, but fortunately it is not a hardware quality problem
-
Anonymous3607 Aug 2, 2019I also have this issue from time to time on my iMac 5k 2015, at its worst 100% failure to wake up after each sleep for about a week. After a while, it got better again, and now it will appear almost 1-2 times a month.

-
Anonymous3626 Aug 2, 2019It seems that this one of yours is that "part" of today's supplemental update.

Poster Aug 2, 2019@ Anonymous3421 @ Anonymous3623 @ Anonymous3625 @ Anonymous3626 Yes, fortunately, Apple updates quickly, otherwise I would have taken my iMac to repair tomorrow

Anonymous3233 Aug 3, 2019Software is generally not called quality control, right... Although it's fine, aren't you used to bugs?
-
Poster Aug 3, 2019Everyone, the supplementary update problem that updated 10.14. 6 still exists, my God, it's probably hardware
-
Anonymous2784 Aug 22, 2019What does the system problem have to do with hardware quality control? The logic has not been sorted out!

Anonymous3627 Sep 24, 2019I had the same problem as you before and asked someone in applestore to help me look at it. They said that there is a sensor bar at the position of the battery. If it is too close to the mobile phone or some electronic device, the sleep mode will not be easily awakened, and the screen will automatically go black.
