I really want to buy 20 iMacs, but after reading my old buddy's analysis, I am a little confused

The blogger who read YouTube before said that Apple Silicon Mac may be released in October. What I wonder is why Apple releases an Intel device since it will be updated soon? What do you think Apple thinks about it, buddy?

Apple: If I send it, someone will buy it. Why think so much?

I didn't think about it, just needed to buy it

If you buy it, you can use it for at least 3 to 4 years, but waiting for two months is not a big deal

I seem to have seen it somewhere. Cook said that he promised that Intel systems would still be updated after many years. It may not stop until it can't be moved after the update. (Refer to 2012 Stop Update 10.15)

Choosing Intel means that after these two years there will still be Intel software available, including virtual machines and Windows systems. Choosing ARM may mean that you can only use ARM completely.

Buy, top-end, licensed, and contribute some tax revenue to the country by the way

The immediate release of an ARM-based Mac does not mean that it can replace the current Intel version of the Mac. The newly released Mac will definitely work, but various high-performance scenarios and global system-level integration cannot be done at once. Yes, including the software ecosystem, has also left two years for developers to migrate and adapt. Therefore, Intel's version will remain maintained for at least several years.

    @ Anonymous5808 Well, makes sense

    @ Anonymous3512 This is true

@ Anonymous10217 Well, it seems there's no need to struggle with it either

Nothing to struggle with, new things wait for the second generation.

    iMac

The arm version of iMac is not so fast. It is estimated that it will be released next year. The arm replaces the 12-inch macbook

Upstairs, an ID beginning with M saw that you submit taxes when you buy an Apple. It's really funny, as if you don't have to pay taxes when you buy a Windows computer. Buy x86 or wait for arm to see what your work needs. If it is daily coding, it is actually more inclined to X86, and various tool chains and software are very mature. The ecosystem under Arm is really hard to describe. Just look at Docker images and you will know how many can support Arm architecture. There are also virtualization and the like. I doubt how it can be supported under Arm. I think there are two main reasons why Apple released Arm. One is that for ordinary consumers, the iOS ecosystem is much better than that of mac. If you switch to Arm, you can use the iOS APP in minutes. The other is that Intel is really not powerful, and no one can stand it now at 14 nm. However, if it is development, it is strongly recommended to start with the x86 platform. It is estimated that it will take at least 5 years for the arm platform to be developed smoothly.

@ Anonymous5811 You are wrong. What I mean is to let you buy licensed goods and pay the taxes you should pay to the country. Don't try your best to buy parallel imports, tax evasion versions, fake student machines

@ Anonymous373 Yes Yes Yes, you are a good citizen who abides by the law and pays taxes. When you go to Taobao, remember to ask the seller to issue an invoice, so that you can pay all the taxes you should pay.

The imac series is not guaranteed and will continue to be updated in the intel camp in the next three years. Apple said that it will take five years to switch to arm across the board, which means that there will be the last intel mac device around 2025. Stop using intel chips. Compared with before, the updated imac this time is indeed pretty good. I can buy it as a proper productivity. I can buy it if I just need it.

@ Anonymous1834 is very pertinent, it's time to start ~
