2021/10 I bought an iMac 27 '

I used a low-end MacBook Pro 15 '2018 before. 16G memory is enough for ordinary use. If the web page is opened too much, the swap will be about 2-4G, which is an acceptable level. There is also a low-end M1 Mac mini, which is basically used as a NAS.
After I started fiddling with the camera, the problem occurred. Affinity Photo + A7R3 caused the swap to always go to 8G. Although it was not unusable, it was very uncomfortable to use, so I had the idea of changing the computer. Another problem is that when this MacBook Pro is connected to an external monitor, there is a high probability that it will not wake up once it sleeps, and the fan will start to turn soon. You need to replug and unplug the monitor, or unplug the monitor from the computer and close the cover to solve it. The most exaggerated time was one morning when I didn't know if I received an email or something, the computer was awakened, and the sound of the fan directly woke me up.
After looking around, it's actually not a good time for me to buy a Mac during this time:
-The maximum memory of M1 Mac can only be added to 16G, exclude all directly
-All customizations of the new MacBook Pro have to wait at least a month, and I don't need the performance of the M1 Pro/Max. The bottleneck lies in the memory, and I wonder if I will encounter the external monitor problems encountered by this current MacBook Pro
-Intel Mac mini's HD630 is not enough
In the end, only the iMac 27 is left. In fact, iMac 27 'is not a good choice either. The frame is too large. Although it doesn't affect actual use, it takes up space on the monitor. The tenth generation Intel is really not so good. Another problem is that it can only pick up a 5K, meaning my other 4K monitor won't work.
Yesterday, the MacBook Pro and Mac mini in my handle were trade-in. I changed to this iMac 27 'mid-range. After I got it back, I directly plugged in 64G memory. I tried to open 10 RAW pictures at a time with Affinity Photo. compressed and swap are 0 until now.
As for the computer itself, the performance doesn't feel like anything. I don't use it to work. I only use it to do my own thing, watch videos and retouch pictures. As for the screen of the iMac itself, there is no need to say much, but to be honest, I don't see any obvious difference in color between it and the LG 5k2k...
Now I am extremely disgusted with the low profile of the 2019 MacBook Pro 16 'released by the company. It is really frugality. Every time I call, the memory explodes to the point that it is almost unusable.
Maybe a new iMac next year is too far away for me, and if what rumor said is true, I guess I can't afford the price. Now this configuration, plus a MacBook Air/low-end MacBook Pro is enough. Let's wait until Black Friday to see what good deals there are.
PS: Let me complain about Apple tax. It costs $1,000 to buy an iMac on apple.com and add 64G of memory. If I buy it myself, it costs less than $300 after tax. It's all the same DDR4 2666, which is too exaggerated...
