I would like to ask friends who use EarPods on iMac 27-inch, how can the headphone cable be broken if the headphone cable is not long enough?

The headphone jack is on the far right side of the screen, and the person and the keyboard are in the middle. After pulling it to the ear, the headphone cable has to be attached to the keyboard to affect typing. It's difficult to sit against the table and set your head. Do any friends have the same troubles? Is there any other way besides using wireless headphones?     Just buy an extension cord. Don't worry, it won't affect the sound quality of your EarPods. Buy the kind of extension cable that supports both stereo and recording, which is more convenient to use.

    It is recommended to change wireless headphones. Most of the in-ear cables are not that long, and it is uncomfortable for large wired ears to pull a long cable. My iMac is connected to the HD660S, and the cable is long enough, but in the end I only use the NC700, and the HD660 is only used to listen to music because wireless is convenient.
