I have a 2009 iMac at home. Can I manually diy and upgrade the configuration?

It's very old and worthless even if it's sold. The screen looks very good. Can this kind of hardware be upgraded by diy?

    It can only be disassembled and replaced with the SSD. The CPU graphics card can theoretically be replaced, but it is too much trouble and not worth it

I removed a 2012 Mac mini before, replaced it with a memory stick and added a hard drive When removing the fan power supply, I accidentally pulled half of the base off, disconnected the pin heel from the motherboard, and the seat was tilted to one side. When I installed it back later, I tried my best to restore it... Then I downloaded an App that could see the fan speed and also The speed adjustment App was fine after testing, it was a false alarm...
