Please recommend a screen suitable for mac mini2, can the 2K screen be used?

As the title goes, I have two questions to ask,
1. I have a 2K screen at home. It was a computer screen a long time ago. I wonder if it can be used?
2. If you buy it new, please recommend the model or what parameters should be included. The budget is 3K, which can fluctuate by 500 (pursuing cost-effectiveness and can be used for several years)
Screen use: 90% watching videos, 10% browsing web and documents, no games
In addition, is a computer like mac mini2 suitable for VR use connected to htc? If you know, please give me some advice, thank you

Anonymous899 Oct 23, 2023@ Poster # 5 5K mirror screen, it's just for watching dramas. I just use it for watching dramas, web pages, and e-books. I bought it when I was engaged in activities. 3999

Anonymous6458 Oct 23, 2023My similar situation is for reference: MacBook is connected to a 24-inch 2K (an old Dell screen has never been thrown away) I originally wanted to change this Double 11 to 24 + 4K or 27 + 5K. A few days ago, I turned on HiDPI with BetterDisplay (the font is much clearer), and then lowered the resolution by 1 level (the icon font is basically the same as that of MacBook), but now I have no idea of changing it at all https://i.imgur.com/RvoLAbX.png

Anonymous6458 Oct 23, 2023After turning on HiDPI, I found that it was completely enough to watch videos, web pages, documents and code words. My previous ideas became false requirements, which saved a lot of money

Anonymous10817 Oct 23, 202324's 2k screen is directly set to 2048 * 1152

Anonymous10073 Oct 24, 2023After watching it for a long time, I don't understand what Mac mini2 is
-
Poster Oct 24, 2023@ Anonymous10073 I'm sorry to be unclear, it's an M2 Mac mini
-
Anonymous777 Oct 24, 2023I still think the best monitor for Mac mini is Studio Display
-
Anonymous10073 Oct 24, 2023@ Poster It doesn't matter now that I understand the 3k budget recommendation, there are many options for 27-inch 4k
-
Anonymous3698 Oct 24, 2023Recommend 4k, any brand will work, it is better than 2k anyway
-
Anonymous10818 Oct 24, 2023Now the 27-inch 4K 144HZ is less than 2000, highly recommended

Anonymous10819 Oct 24, 202324 inches, 4k, high brush bonus points. 2k will let you down

Anonymous10820 Oct 24, 20232k There is basically no problem in turning on HiDPI with BetterDisplay (the screen occasionally blurs when waking up, just turn off the monitor and turn it on again) It looks uncomfortable without turning on HiDPI

Anonymous348 Oct 26, 2023@ Poster To be reasonable, I thought the best resolution of 27 inches was 4K, but I didn't find it really good until I used a 27 inch 5K monitor.

Poster Oct 26, 2023@ Anonymous348 Those 27-inch and 32-inch, do you have any suggestions? 90% of the main functions are watching dramas

Anonymous348 Oct 27, 2023@ Poster Watch dramas, the bigger the better, I watch 😓 on a 65-inch TV

Anonymous10821 Nov 29, 2023Buy a 27-inch 5K or a 24-inch 4K. If the 27 is cheaper, buy Kuycon 27-inch 5K. I bought it for 3800, which is very pleasant to use. I mainly watch dramas. If it is cheaper, buy Future Vision V100, which costs 2999. The difference is that one is a mirror. The screen is a matte screen. In principle, the mirror screen is more transparent. The 4K of 24 can be used in the future vision V100 mini. I use it in my office, 1399, and it is also very easy to use. The only disadvantage is that it cannot be raised or lowered and does not support vesa.
