I am used to using LG's 42C1 five years ago, and then using studio display, I am extremely disappointed. The monitor worth more than 10,000 yuan cannot display black

Hey, it can't be returned after activation and unpacking. It seems that only miniLED and OLED can match the colorful macOS
A dark scene, the studio display shows gray, which is seriously unacceptable

Anonymous2044 May 9, 2025But the color accuracy of LG42's OLED is very poor... especially the consistency after retouching. I don't know where the color is biased from the macbook. There are also various OLED life protection, such as the brightness of the white page will be reduced if it is used too much (the protection program that can be turned off has been turned off in engineering mode) Compared with the gray display, I think mirror reflection is even more unacceptable. You can't hang a 42-inch TV 2m away as a monitor, can you? If it is at the position of 70-80cm like me, then it is reflective. One is that if there is a light at the top of the room, you can see a bright light source; The other thing is shining on your face in total darkness...

Anonymous12433 May 9, 2025miniled is useless either

Anonymous629 May 9, 2025If you look closely, miniLED cannot be pure black, only OLED can do it
-
Anonymous1668 May 9, 2025Let me correct again, the 42-inch is only available in the C2, and the C1 generation only has 48

Anonymous2797 May 9, 2025I would like to ask you when you use an hdmi cable to connect macbook and lg c1-c4, will the mouse (touchpad) be delayed and not follow your hands? I suspect it's a problem with a certain option of the TV, but it didn't work much after setting it all, and the picture modes were cut off. So let me ask if you have ever encountered this kind of problem

Anonymous1658 May 9, 2025@ Anonymous2797 Have you looked at the refresh rate? 30hz doesn't follow

Anonymous2336 May 9, 2025C3 users, except for the unpleasant brightness change caused by window changes, everything else is very pleasant. I don't know if C5 has improved

Anonymous2330 May 9, 2025@ Anonymous46 "However, many people in v station like to emphasize the advantages of SD. As for the disadvantages, they are useless, even though the market has proved that high brush and partition backlight are more important for most people than high scores" What? I just need a high score, okay? If it's important to you, just don't buy it. I really don't need a high brush. If you don't use it, you just don't use it. Why don't you tell me?

Anonymous11663 May 9, 2025@ Anonymous2044 fully agrees that LG's OLED, as a monitor, has insufficient color accuracy and sharpness. If it is a group that requires this, G series TV is definitely not a good choice. The color accuracy of Apple's own products is sufficient, and it's easy to use out of the box

Anonymous2044 May 9, 2025@ Anonymous1668 There are 42C1 ones, but starting from 42C2, they have replaced OLED panels with the same size as the larger ones, and 42 have G series (Gaming, display)

Anonymous1709 May 10, 2025Black doesn't show it at first... When the lights are turned off, it will be black. So there is a difference between the black color of lcd and led, which is a physical characteristic. If you can't accept it, just return it. (This should be common sense that you should know before buying, especially if you are sensitive to black)

Anonymous1668 May 10, 2025@ Anonymous2044 # 31 I clearly remember that there is no 42-inch version, otherwise I would have bought the 42 version, which was only introduced in the c2 generation Ask ai also the same result

Anonymous2239 May 10, 2025Without turning on the lights with oled, no more eyes? Turn on the lights, your oled is not pure black either.

Anonymous13570 May 13, 2025This is not the advantage of Studio Display itself. Studio Display is not even miniled. I remember it doesn't even have true HDR. The brightness is 500nit as much as that of a MacBook Air. No matter how bad the OLED is, it still has a native 10-bit panel with unlimited contrast. Studio Display is only an 8-bit panel. The skills are basically focused on SDR color accuracy. It seems that there is really no better color accuracy for about 10,000 yuan. Those professional monitors from Sony, right?
