MAC's smb, NFS, and AFP are often disconnected, what should I do?

MacBook Pro is turned on 24 hours a day and never turns off, and it has been connected to NAS for a long time. I have tried smb, NFS, and AFP. After mounting, it has to be disconnected every day, and I don't want it to be repaired automatically like win
Is there any good solution for this?

Anonymous7539 May 13, 2025The network is unstable I use afp, it will only disconnect when the network is unstable, it is very stable in daily life

Poster May 13, 2025@ Anonymous7539 Have you not turned off your phone for a long time?

Poster May 13, 2025@ Anonymous1856 Are you not shutting down first for a long time?

Anonymous1986 May 13, 2025Win is not much better. Mount smb to disk. If the network jitters and smb is disconnected, it will cause the Windows desktop to get stuck directly

Anonymous1856 May 13, 2025@ Poster # 6 I just cover the box without turning it off

Anonymous1987 May 13, 2025Write a script, judge it regularly, and reconnect if it is disconnected

Anonymous10253 May 13, 2025Someone recommends Automounter and ConnectMeNow V4

Anonymous10253 May 13, 2025But they all charge, I don't know if there are any free ones

Anonymous1709 May 13, 2025I... I haven't dropped it either... Maybe the connection of individual software is automatically closed?

Anonymous339 May 13, 2025Although Mac's smb is not very easy to use, I have never encountered it when I lose the connection

Anonymous10065 May 13, 2025The network is disconnected while sleeping. Next time you sleep, go to the routing to check the connection time

Anonymous1964 May 13, 2025Are you using wireless?

Anonymous8449 May 13, 2025Just because you don't turn off your phone doesn't mean you don't sleep. Why don't you try wired + no sleep? My afp is not easy to disconnect, maybe because of the Time Machine, smb basically reconnects after sleeping

Anonymous46 May 13, 2025You'd better check the stability of your home network

Anonymous1988 May 13, 2025Insert your eyes and squat a solution. Those who talked about hibernation and network problems upstairs have really never encountered similar problems. After I bought the M2 Mac mini, I mounted it to Synology's video folder with wired 10 Gigabit port NFS AFP, and then used it as a PLEX Server. The result is that the mount is frequently dropped and the video cannot be played normally... It sucks
