Has anyone used a 5k monitor under mac

Non-StudioDiskplay, for example, I bought 5k from viewsonic, and the national subsidy cost 3,500, but it didn't feel amazing. Since it looks dirty, the resolution is also very strange. It seems to be used to zoom to 2k, but 1080 looks okay. Alas, it doesn't feel worth it

@ Poster Yes, I just display it as 2K. The effect is very delicate and I won't feel tired. But if it's caused by myopia and you need to get close, then the experience should not be good @ Anonymous46 coding and office work. Generally, few people buy hairtail screens in macOS for hidpi display effect. On the contrary, the ones I know who use studio display are graphic design and coding

-For many people (especially those with glasses), the 27-inch 5K 200% zoom (i.e. 2.5 K HiDPI) is too small. -27-inch 4K 200% is quite good. If you think the UI is too big and wastes space, put it further away. -If the display space is not enough, it is recommended to buy a 34-inch 5120x2160 hairtail screen. -Go to ViewSonic official website and look for it. There is a corresponding color description file. It is recommended to withdraw if you can.

    @ Poster # 20 The appropriate resolution for a 27-inch size is 2560x1440. Apple's previous iMac 27 had this resolution If I use a 27-inch 4K, it also corresponds to 2560x1440 when I turn on 150% zoom

ViewSonic is not the ViewSonic before, don't touch it if you can

@ Anonymous46 Writing code 5K is still much more comfortable than 4K, and I am using RV200 Pro. In the past, I used the Samsung S34E790C hairtail screen, but it was still not as versatile as 5K, such as Xcode development.

After watching too many macbook pro screens, the 4k 27-inch one is still grainy. To achieve the same feeling, you still need a 5k 27-inch monitor. I also used a 5k monitor from imac before, and I felt it was difficult to switch to a 4k monitor.
