Is a centimeter on the right side of Magic Trackpad 2 invalid?

I bought a wifi Bluetooth 2-in-1 pcie network card from my new Black Apple on Taobao. I bought a new touchpad that can be used without driving.
But when using it, I feel that the cursor always gets stuck.
Later, I found the reason, which is that one centimeter wide on the right side of the touchpad is invalid. To be more precise, it's the starting position of my touch. If it's one centimeter on the right edge,
Next, about half a centimeter, the cursor began to move. It's not completely invalid, because I slide up on the right edge, and it can be clearly tested that my hand moves for a while before the cursor starts to follow.
Swipe left with two fingers on the right side to draw out the sidebar.
Does anyone have a Magic Trackpad 2 to test it out for me? See if this is what it is, or if I have a problem with this touchpad, or if there is a problem with my system system... Or is it affected by some configuration?
ps. I have the touchpad in front of me like the macbook, so the right hand is easy to swipe to the right side.

Poster Jan 27, 2019I looked into it again, and the bottom 0.5 cm area also has this problem. And sliding left and right along the lower edge is completely ineffective. The upper line stroke on the right edge is only delayed for a while.

Anonymous2102 Jan 27, 2019About 0.5 cm on the right side will not respond when sliding quickly. There may be a conflict with the gesture of opening the notification bar. You need to detect it for a while before deciding whether to open the notification bar or simply move the mouse. However, the slow movement of the right edge of a single finger will react immediately, which proves that it is not a hardware problem. Feedback from White Apple

Poster Jan 27, 2019@ Anonymous2102 After I turned off the gesture of the notification center, the right side was really good. I decided to just turn it off, the notification center doesn't use much. But there seems to be no relevant gesture on the lower edge. You try swiping left and right on the bottom side.

Anonymous3495 Jan 27, 2019It should be a problem with the anti-accidental touch algorithm

Poster Jan 27, 2019@ Anonymous3495 There is this possibility. If you place the mouse position, the bottom side is easily touched. I don't know if you are swinging the underside or the right side of the keyboard.

Anonymous3496 Jan 27, 2019LZ just look at the side of Trackpad2. There is only a glass plate about 0.5 cm around the touch panel, and then the part containing the touch circuit. There will definitely be no response when touching around the touchpad = 3 =

Poster Jan 27, 2019@ Anonymous3496 This glass has an integrated touch circuit. There are reactions on the left and top, and there are also reactions on the right when the notification center is turned off.

Anonymous3496 Jan 27, 2019@ Poster But it's not, I just tested it and it makes no difference ╮( ̄ ▽ ̄) ╯

Poster Jan 27, 2019@ Anonymous3496 I just want to determine whether there is any hardware problem with our touchpad and whether it should be replaced. Please tell me what the results of your test are. If you scratch your finger left and right within the bottom 0.5, will the cursor move? It's not clear if you said there's no difference whether none of the four edges move or all move.

Anonymous3496 Jan 27, 2019@ Poster If you poke Trackpad2 with a bottle cap wooden stick or something, there is no force feedback, you will only have it when you press it with your finger. No matter whether the notification center gesture is turned on or not, the 0.5-meter-wide area around the touch pad is an invalid touch area. There is no reaction when pressing here, and the cursor will not move. Except for the 0.5 cm border, all positions are available areas, and the cursor will move and provide strong feedback. An exchange is only required if the cursor does not move or there is no force feedback. If you gently sweep the touchpad with your fingertips, it is visually invalid to touch 1cm around the frame.

Anonymous3496 Jan 27, 2019Oh, by the way, I use white apples, which may be different from black apples in terms of experience (「 ・ ω ・) 「

Poster Jan 27, 2019@ Anonymous3496 Well I'm relieved that you say so. You shouldn't have to exchange the goods. However my touchpad really upper left and right edge scratching is also effective.. Strange

Anonymous3496 Jan 27, 2019news.mydrivers.com/1/452/452045.htm I'm using the trackpad in the web page. It's possible that the trackpad hardware has been upgraded to support edge touch. (Look carefully at the glass edge of the touchpad in the web page)

Anonymous3497 Jan 28, 2019mbp uses trackpad2 finger half on the outside, that is, it can also be operated by touching the edge (cutting the hand)
-
Poster Jan 28, 2019@ Anonymous3497 What about the lower edge? I can't cut the lower edge right now...
-
Anonymous3497 Jan 29, 2019@ Poster I just tried it, but the lower edge doesn't work, but it rarely triggers edge operations in usual use.
-
Poster Jan 29, 2019@ Anonymous3497 thank you that's the same as me, what seems like a normal situation should be.

Anonymous9399 Feb 1, 2019My white apple is like this, and it is like this on 4 sides

Poster Feb 1, 2019@ Anonymous9399 thank you the bottom edge should be a few millimeters more than the other three edges

Anonymous3498 Mar 24, 2020I have the same problem as the original poster. The upper right corner often loses reflection when swiping quickly. After turning off the sliding call control center, this problem was solved perfectly. As for the poster's mention that the lower edge does not respond, I am the same, it should be normal.
