Please recommend a screen suitable for mac mini2, can the 2K screen be used?

As the title goes, I have two questions to ask, 1. I have a 2K screen at home. It was a computer screen a long time ago. I wonder if it can be used? 2. If you buy it new, please recommend the model or what parameters should be included. The budget is 3K, which can fluctuate by 500 (pursuing cost-effectiveness and can be used for several years) Screen use: 90% watching videos, 10% browsing web and documents, no games In addition, is a computer like mac mini2 suitable for VR use connected to htc? If you know, please give me some advice, thank you

Yes, but the font is very small

    1. It works, but the experience is not good. Recommend better display software to do HiDPI and resolution 2. I recommend 32-inch 4K IPS, big brands + around 3K, there are not many models on JD.com

It can't be used, at least 4k, otherwise it will be virtual.

23-inch 4K, 27-inch 5K, this is the best combination. I upgraded from dell U2720QM 27-inch 4K to Kuycon 27-inch 5K. The feeling is completely different, especially when I read the text for a long time, it won't feel blurry. There is an article in V2 that makes it clear why.

@ Anonymous899 27's 5K exceeded the budget, so I just watched the drama and was a bit reluctant not to play games.

The budget recommended by @ Anonymous1505 is in line. I have a question. Does IPS refer to [IPS (LGD)] or [IPS technology]? I think there are these two options. Wait for Double 11 to see the price discount

@ Poster Both count as IPS, both are selected

Don't go to 2K, the display is very empty and it hurts my eyes when I look at it. Although it can be solved softly, it is a bit troublesome. Finally, if the budget of 3,000 is too high or too low, I recommend Xiaomi's 4k monitor, which is within 2,000.

@ Anonymous3638 only choose 4k and 32 inches, various brand signals, the price is 1000 and 5000. I don't know what the difference is. My brother recommended Xiaomi to have a comprehensive comparison. I really just use it to watch dramas. I don't know if it is the most cost-effective kind

    @ Poster Xiaomi's doesn't have a 32-inch 4K. They are all 27 inches.

    It's 2023, don't go to 2K, at least start with 4K

@ Anonymous348 I originally thought that if I could, I would use the old 2K monitor. Judging from the feedback from the brothers upstairs, I still need 4K to adapt

The 1080 I used before was also very good, but later I changed to 27, 4k, and recently I want to change it to 32 inches

    @ Anonymous1341 Is 1080P used with mac mini2?
  • Anonymous3639 Oct 23, 2023
I recommend the 27-inch 4k screen. I use the Redmi 1500rmb one myself, and it works fine. I am also using 2k. The m2 macmini can open 144hz high refresh rate. Mine is a 27-inch 2k 165hz Xiaomi. These two screens can be connected to the m2 macmini at the same time.

The 34-inch hairtail screen (1440p type) is equivalent to a 27-inch 2K widening. It can be used as 2 screens. If you have high requirements for text, you get 4k, but it depends on people. I don't feel uncomfortable using the 24-inch 1080p screen in my office with the top and bottom of the macbook.

I bought Redmi's 4k, and it feels ok. Except that the shelf is not that stable, but you don't shake the display all day, so it doesn't matter.

@ Poster # 14 I also have 1080P, and there is nothing wrong with the adaptation, but the resolution of 1080 is low
  • Anonymous9519 Oct 23, 2023
Try not to use 2K for Mac, 4K is more suitable

    @ Anonymous3642 Roger that, thanks
