Small rockets and loons must turn off sip before they can be used, which is very inconvenient
surge and stash are both expensive, I would like to ask which of these two is better to buy
At present, all of them are big version buyouts. There is no real lifetime, only big version...

Anonymous1716 May 9, 2025For pure macOS, surge will definitely be recommended. Not to mention that bypass is more convenient than others, Ponte and smart strategies alone are worth it if necessary. The broadband at home has public network IPv4/6, so Ponte is not necessary, but it is simple and stable to use, so now I have replaced the router and turned on Wireguard. The smart strategy is currently what I am most satisfied with. It seems to be the only one among competing products. The stability of the airport has deteriorated significantly in recent years. The smart strategy has been of great help to me

Anonymous8449 May 9, 2025@ Anonymous6741 Of course it's a Mac mini, but the M4 on the M2 should be better Don't use tv surge as a gateway, the performance is too bad

Anonymous1716 May 9, 2025@ Anonymous9669 In my airport, a node didn't need to be replaced for a year, but then it didn't work. This is also the main reason why I changed from the router to the Mac to open surge for bypass, because it is convenient to manage and configure shunt. Not to mention the high delay every day or the collective hang-up of nodes in some regions, but it occurs at least 3 or 4 times a week. The smart strategy is used to gather nodes in different regions to configure different weights. At least it can ensure that connection is not lost, and it can be automatically recovered after recovery. For quick recovery, nodes in the same region will also be relatively selected, at least there will be no obvious interruption

Anonymous8991 May 9, 2025surge, I've been using it for a long time. And the big version update is also paid for new features, there is no problem with the old version

Anonymous8992 May 9, 2025For mac, why don't you try all kinds of clash? It's very useful

Anonymous4454 May 9, 2025Currently it's mobile phone loon, and I run mihomo naked on macOS. Each clash UI has downstream bugs, it is better to run the kernel directly in the background

Anonymous59 May 10, 2025The mobile version of stash can also be installed on mac, openwrt can install openclash and subscribe to yml, and it can be synchronized and universal. After using it for 2 years, I have obtained a stable batch. I have never used the Ponte and smart strategies mentioned above, just a vpn tool, as long as it is stable

Anonymous3838 May 10, 2025https://github.com/wynemo/tech-notes/blob/master/science/% E5% B7% A5% E5% 85% B7% E5% AF% B9% E6% AF% 94. md can be used with surge proxy chain It is more convenient to use surge basically configured through the interface, but a small number of parameters can only be configured through the interface. It seems that I haven't found loon that cannot be configured through the interface. Many functions need to be configured in the configuration file-see this post https://v2ex.com/t/1128467 Can stash macOS set rules on the request list page?; Only surge supports temporary rules; it even supports setting temporary rules for the browser's current page; Protocols go from high to low, basically you can think of: shadowrocket/sing-box > stash > loon > surge

Anonymous8994 May 10, 2025The soft router sing-box at home is used by small rockets outside

Anonymous4848 May 10, 2025@ Anonymous1716 smart is really easy to use, good news for junk airports, almost perfectly solves the network frustration caused by node failure, other types of policy groups cannot achieve the effect of smart

Anonymous1709 May 10, 2025You turn off SIP and all vpn software can't be used. So you have nothing to struggle with, it's not about which app to use, but whether you are willing to turn on SIP. (Normal people should not turn off SIP. After turning off SIP, you must first confirm whether you know the risk. If you don't know the risk, you must turn on SIP)
