Pure macOS native, which one is better, surge or stash?

Small rockets and loons must turn off sip before they can be used, which is very inconvenient surge and stash are both expensive, I would like to ask which of these two is better to buy At present, all of them are big version buyouts. There is no real lifetime, only big version...

If the company wants to use vpn, it can only use proxy software. I choose v2rayn

I'm using Circle X, which works with both macOS and iOS.

If your mobile phone is using stash, you don't need to buy another one. Download the ipad version directly on the App Store, which is enough. Profile syncing with iCloud is convenient.

    macOS/iOS, why don't you try Sing-box? It's also free

@ Anonymous8449 # 30 Is Openwrt implementing anything special? In fact, you can also directly use Macmini to take charge of pppoe and surge to take over dhcp.
  • Anonymous8449 May 13, 2025
@ Anonymous2400 First of all, Mac mini only has one network port & Mac mini pppoe and surge coexist. I know it can be done, but it's more troublesome. surge does not provide official support Secondly, I personally prefer clear rights and responsibilities rather than all in boom. The benefits of openwrt also include more convenient firewall configuration upnp service, etc. I have a public IP and I can configure these things more freely on openwrt

@ Anonymous8449 Please, I used bypass mode. surge only manages devices without doing DHCP. IP: 192.168. 31. xxx Subnet mask: 255.255. 255.0 Gateway: 192.168. 31. (Surge's machine IP) dns: 198.18. 0.2 After this setting on the mobile phone, the proxy is connected, but WeChat and accessing the intranet are particularly slow and even can't send messages and pictures. What other settings do I need to do if it is surge? Or is there something wrong with my configuration? Are there any recommended rules. Thank you.

@ Anonymous7339 Rules Please refer to https://blog.skk.moe/post/i-have-my-unique-surge-setup/ The configuration of dhcp should be no problem. Discussion on the slow score of accessing the intranet. If it is an intranet environment, IP access should not go through the Mac at all. If it is a domain name, you can realip it For WeChat, I have no problem using it here. I feel that this place may really be a problem with your surge rules

For M1, use Stash for mobile phones
