Is 24-inch 4K a false proposition?

Before I bought it, I thought the actual effect of 24-inch 4k would be significantly better than that of 27-inch 4k
In fact, because this panel is too niche, the 24-inch 4k panel is not fully rolled, and its color and response are significantly weaker than the 27-inch 4k panel at the same price.
The resolution of this size is fine for macOS, but the support for some Windows hosts is not good.
To sum up, the sharpness of the font is not as big as the 27-inch 5k and 27-inch 4k, with both color and response
Verdict: I sort of regret it
24-inch 4k monitor model: ViewSonic VG2481-4k
Compare cheaper 27-inch 4k monitor models: Redmi 27-inch 4k (USB-C)

Anonymous533 May 27, 2025Indeed, after buying it, I found it very unaccustomed to using it. What's more, what's even more difficult is that ViewSonic's 24-inch 4k panel has a heavy afterimage. As long as you open the bright station b for more than ten seconds, and then switch to the vscode dark background, there will be a residual station b picture, which is very uncomfortable.

Anonymous534 May 27, 2025LG UltraFine 24-inch 4K works well, but I am missing it and only uses it to connect to macOS machines

Anonymous11718 May 27, 2025You should self-review why your eyes can't enjoy Apple's 24-inch 4.5 k and 27-inch 5k standards

Anonymous535 May 27, 2025I bought 2 and both of them are very good. One is MU24LC and the other is RV100mini. I also bought the U24P10R before, but this stand takes up a lot of desktop space, and the lowest brightness still feels dazzling, so I returned it. I am using it now. Another advantage of these two models for me is that I can adjust the screen brightness under the Linux kde desktop, which most monitors do not support.

Anonymous536 May 27, 202527-inch 4k is really useless, to be precise, monitors larger than 24 inches cannot be used
-
Poster May 27, 2025@ Anonymous536 Why? The large screen can be divided into multiple work areas, so you don't need to watch them all at once.

Anonymous537 May 27, 2025I have never used a 24-inch 4k, but I have been using a 27-inch and I feel very satisfied

Anonymous538 May 27, 2025I use 4K27. The words are slightly large and acceptable, but I am afraid that 24 miscellaneous brands will affect the look and feel. In fact, the question you asked is not caused by the resolution

Anonymous540 May 27, 2025Is the 150% effect of 27-inch 4k not delicate enough compared to 200% effect of 24-inch?

Anonymous11728 May 27, 2025Previously used 24-inch 4k (dell p2415q) Now using 27-inch 4k (LG 27GP95R) The hosts are all mac, and they all feel pretty good.

Anonymous11958 May 27, 2025The visual effect contains too many factors. It would be too usurping to buy a 24-inch 4K just because the 24-inch ppi meets the definition of Apple's retina screen. Honestly buy a good 27-inch 4K screen, and I enjoy it very much if I sit far away.

Anonymous10073 May 27, 202524-inch 4k at home In the company 27 inches 4k The one I have at home is ultrafine and the same panel is made by a small factory and the results are good The company is Xiaomi Office, which uses Windows machines to read documents and make do with them

Anonymous543 May 27, 2025Is it the typec version, please? I have been watching ViewSonic these days and want to try it with a smaller screen. The ordinary model is less than 800 after the national subsidy. This persuaded me to quit

Anonymous544 May 27, 2025@ Anonymous539 JD.COM Q&A area has two issues discussing this monitor: 1. There will be horizontal lines when viewed from the side. Most of the things that reflect this problem are attached to the condition macos. I don't know whether it has nothing to do with os, or if there is no horizontal line at all. 2. Afterimage problem, similar to ViewSonic.

Anonymous545 May 27, 2025Indeed, because according to retina standards, 4K should correspond to 21.5 inches. 24 and 27 inches are mainly suitable for industrial production standards.
